Expanding our network at Black Sea Grain.Europe – 2024
Our team recently participated in the Black Sea Grain Europe conference in Prague, meeting existing customers and suppliers as well as expanding our network in the European agricultural market.
The prevailing tone at the Black Sea Grain conference was a mix of cautious optimism and concerns about the agricultural landscape. First, feedback from both participants and speakers underlined that demand is currently trailing, creating a scenario where prices may see additional pressure. From other hand, farmers seem reluctant to sell, being already below margins. However, narrowing the window of time before new crops hit the market, we could expect more pressure on prices.
Furthermore, given the global instability, many operators were complaining about a lack of liability from more numbers of players as they use all means to continuously renegotiate prices due to the huge spread from original purchases.
At Maxwer, we are ready to support our customers in these evolving dynamics, building strong and reliable partnerships as we understand that staying agile in response to market fluctuations is key to success.
